At Esalen Institute, the combined energy of land, ocean, open air and inner spirituality, creates a wonderful sense of presence that inspires the practitioner's touch in a way that awakens the entire body as well as the mind and spirit. At Esalen, I found a special place that encourages this intuition as much as teaches its practitioners an increased awareness and knowledge of the human body and spirit.
Esalen Massage creates a meditative stillness and completeness that only a few other things make me feel: Surfing, Yoga, and Ecstatic Dance. It is this sense of completeness, combined with the natural ability and intuition in my strong, yet gentle hands that I hope to bring to every massage. We are each individuals, and each massage should treat us according to our particular needs. And like individuals, no two massages are exactly like.
